Mission: First Light
Posted on Fri Jan 30th, 2026 @ 7:47pm by Crewman Alyra Kassim‑Tareh & Brigadier General Jonathan Frost

Alyra was a unique crewman: a command yeoman, but also assigned to the diplomatic corps, which is why she was in the diplomatic-support variant enlisted bunks. The bunk was simple, with micro-woven fabric panels in muted Starfleet tones and a recessed holo-strip capable of displaying calming starfield imagery, which Alyra sometimes enjoyed but most of the time had shut down. But she really loved the built-in scent neutralizer, which helped maintain a fresh, quiet space.

Alyra didn't do a lot of work in her bunk or at the tiny fold-out desk panel at the foot of the bunk, but as…

The very human-looking Rihannsu was in one of the artificial intelligence labs within the ship's science wing, working with the ship's artificial intelligence core. A highly protected part of the ship, even more so than the bridge, engineering, and intelligence. He was busy looking through source goods, as he received an order from the captain of the ship, that someone who had no access to the ship's systems was able to stroll right into intelligence, "mmm, interesting, exciting," he muttered.

Frost stepped through the AI lab’s security field, the faint shimmer fading as the door sealed behind him. The blue…

Mission: First Light
Posted on Sat Nov 22nd, 2025 @ 10:49pm by Lieutenant JG Tirenn MacDara

This was Tirenn's first time seeing the Aurelia Pod, the Archlight's botany bay, which was larger than a shuttle bay but smaller than a full science deck. This advanced, self-contained botanical habitat can support multiple distinct micro-biome ecosystems simultaneously. The translucent alloy arches made the pod feel like a soft-curved terrarium cathedral, with environmental fields replacing traditional walls, allowing the micro-biome ecosystems to be observed without stepping in.

Between the micro-biome ecosystems ran the central hall, nicknamed the Luminous Spine, which was a 2m-wide path running nose to tail, with a transparent composite floor showing root and substrate channels beneath,…

As was common practice when meditating, the young hybrid was nude, her deep violet eyes entirely focused on the sphere. Usually, she would meditate in her meditation niche, but here she was out in the middle of the main living area, surrounded by the smooth, deep, dark sphere. The longer you looked, the sphere shifted, the smoothness disappeared, and a churning reflection appeared.

{Come on, Liriane, concentrate on the sphere, and your breathing,} the young hybrid thought, staring into the sphere and feeling that fear, no, not fear. Well, maybe it was fear, the fear of looking within oneself, looking…

Mission: First Light
Posted on Sun Nov 16th, 2025 @ 4:02am by Lieutenant JG Liriane T’Revassi-Belvaran & Crewman Alyra Kassim‑Tareh

The suite is intentionally quiet and softly luminous, designed to promote clarity, neutrality, and reflective thought. Unlike typical officer quarters, a diplomatic suite is built to feel non-territorial and culturally adaptive—a sanctuary between negotiations, a controlled environment for centering the mind. The diplomatic suite was not much bigger than that of an officer; it was, in fact, closer to the quarters of a senior officer.

The young diplomat was still getting used to this life; hell, she wasn't planning on being assigned to the flagship of a fleet, or whatever this 'Project' was. Two things went with her wherever the…

Personal Log — Brigadier General Jonathan Elias Frost
Assignment: USS Archlight, Commanding Officer

Stepping aboard the USS Archlight today marked more than the beginning of a new command—it felt like crossing a threshold into the next era of Starfleet itself. The ship hums differently than anything I’ve served on before, as if the vessel itself is aware of every movement, every command, every intention before it’s spoken. The integration of Lukari quantum harmonics and Starfleet temporal systems has produced something… alive.

The crew is still settling in. Officers from Sentinel Station and the Temporal Operations Corps are learning…
